My Journey

Kadir’s journey began in Somalia, where he founded SOYAT Hub in 2018 to empower young people with skills, mentorship, and resources to launch businesses and develop innovative solutions. Over the years, he organized workshops, training programs, and national events, including the Somali Youth Innovation Summit, which connected entrepreneurs, investors, and partners, helping young innovators turn their ideas into funded ventures.

To further support youth, Kadir launched the Garaad Initiative, providing financial literacy and startup support for small businesses.

After moving to Ireland, Kadir continued his mission through Resilience Society, creating programs that focus on mental health, personal growth, and community connection. Activities include weekly book clubs, running programs twice a week, workshops, and community events, providing spaces for learning, wellness, and social cohesion.

SOYAT Hub
A youth innovation center in Somalia providing mentorship, training, and entrepreneurial resources. SOYAT Hub empowers young people to create sustainable businesses and social solutions, bridging skills gaps and fostering innovation.

Somali Youth Innovation Summit
Somalia’s largest innovation summit, connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and companies from multiple sectors. The summit serves as a platform to showcase ideas, secure investment, and foster collaboration, making it a national hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Garaad Initiative
A financial literacy and support program for small business owners, startups, and young entrepreneurs. The initiative provides training in budgeting, management, and growth strategies, ensuring sustainable and profitable business operations.

Resilience Society
A community-driven organization in Cork, Ireland focused on mental health, resilience, and empowerment. Programs include:

Resilience Runners: Twice-weekly running sessions promoting wellness and personal growth.
Book Club: Weekend gatherings fostering learning, discussion, and community.
Workshops & Community Events: Weekly and monthly activities to inspire resilience, creativity, and social connection.

Laith Creative
A creative consulting firm offering content creation, branding, and digital storytelling services. Kadir uses his expertise in photography, videography, and graphic design to help organizations communicate effectively and reach their audiences.

Youth Ventures

I am passionate about empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. Through initiatives like SOYAT Hub, the Somali Youth Innovation Summit, and the Garaad Initiative, I provide training, mentorship, funding, and strategic guidance to help young people turn their ideas into thriving businesses.

Youth Ventures is about creating opportunities for youth to learn, experiment, and grow, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and networks they need to succeed. By connecting young innovators with investors, mentors, and industry leaders, we foster a culture of entrepreneurship, creativity, and sustainable impact.
