Who is Kadir Ibrahim
Kadir Ibrahim is a visionary entrepreneur, social innovator, and creative storyteller dedicated to empowering youth, fostering mental health awareness, and driving social change. With a background in Social Work, Kadir combines professional expertise with personal experience to build initiatives that create meaningful impact in communities both locally and internationally.
He is the founder of SOYAT Hub, Somalia’s leading youth innovation center, which equips young people with the skills, mentorship, and resources to launch startups, pursue entrepreneurship, and achieve financial independence. He is also the CEO of Resilience Society in Cork, leading programs like Resilience Runners and community book clubs that promote mental well-being, personal growth, and social connection.
Through his creative expertise in photography, videography, and design, Kadir also leads Laith Creative, helping organizations and brands transform their digital presence and communicate their stories with impact.
Over the years, Kadir has launched high-impact initiatives, including the Somali Youth Innovation Summit, connecting young entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses, and the Garaad Initiative, providing financial literacy and management training to small business owners.
